While the Allsvenskan results are still pending, Mjällby has advanced to the next round of the Champions League qualifiers. After defeating Lincoln Red Imps in the second qualifying round, they now face Slovan Bratislava in a double-header, with the first match starting tomorrow (Tuesday). If Mjällby wins this series, they could potentially meet the winner between FC Ararat-Armenia and NK Celje in the final round of qualifiers (playoff), which takes place on August 18-19 and August 25-26. In that case, Mjällby would start at home.
If Mjällby progresses to the Champions League playoffs, they will play their home matches at Olympia in Helsingborg. Should MAIF lose the double-header against Slovan Bratislava, they will instead face a Europa League playoff match against the winner between Pafos (Cyprus) and Salzburg (Austria). In this scenario as well, Mjällby would start at home.
