Mjallby signs Mads Enggård – most expensive ever
Mjallby AIF has signed Mads Enggård from Norwegian Molde for a record fee. The 22-year-old is expected to sign a contract.
There is a feverish activity in Mjallby AIF at the end of the transfer window. Just a few days ago, Expressen revealed that the club is bringing in Villum Dalsgaard from Danish FC Nordsjælland and sport manager Hasse Larsson is now making another recruitment.
According to Expressen's information, Mjallby is signing Mads Enggård from Norwegian Molde. The clubs have agreed on the 22-year-old, who is expected to undergo medical tests in the coming days.
Signs profile-strong midfielder
If Enggård passes the medical tests, he is expected to sign a contract. Several sources also indicate that Mjallby is making its most expensive player purchase ever.
Last summer, MAIF made its most expensive signing when the club brought in Jeppe Kjaer from Bodö/Glimt in competition with AIK. That deal cost 10 million kronor.
The signing of Enggård will therefore break that record. Mads Enggård has previously played for clubs such as Randers and Vejle in Denmark. He has a total of 41 matches and six assists for Molde.
